Choripan argentino é eleito melhor hot dog por site de gastronomia; versão brasileira fica em 6º lugar


Usuários nas redes sociais levantam polêmica e alguns dizem que o lanche argentino nem é um cachorro-quente. Estados Unidos aparecem na lista com quatro versões diferentes. O ranking foi divulgado no Twitter neste sábado, dia 1º de abril, também conhecido como o Dia da Mentira. Só que como a lista já estava publicada desde o dia 13 de março, isso indica que os usuários do site realmente acreditam que o sanduíche argentino é um hot dog – e é o melhor do mundo. A receita tradicional do choripan consiste em um pão francês, uma linguiça grelhada e chimichurri, um tempero feito com salsinha, orégano, alho, vinagre, óleo, pimenta moída e um pouco de sal. Alguns usuários nas redes sociais estão dizendo que esse lanche não é bem um cachorro-quente, por ser feito com linguiça e usar um pão mais duro que os hot dogs mais tradicionais. Como a lista traz também uma versão coreana, que na verdade é uma salsicha enfiada em um palito, envolta em mistura de farinha, ovo e leite – tudo isso frito –, talvez os críticos da internet possam abrir uma exceção para o choripan. O cachorro-quente brasileiro ficou em 6º lugar e na descrição eles ressaltam nossa criatividade em colocar tudo dentro do lanche: “A variedade de ingredientes é praticamente infinita, e cada região do Brasil tem sua própria preferência.” Os Estados Unidos aparecem com quatro versões diferentes, sendo o melhor classificado o que eles chamam de “Chicago-Style”, que ficou com o segundo lugar. A lista do Taste Atlas foi formada por votação popular, conforme nota dada pelos usuários em cada versão do cachorro quente.
