Ponte aérea Rio-SP será a primeira com embarque biométrico facial no mundo, diz Infraero


Tecnologia está sendo instalada progressivamente nos aeroportos de Congonhas e Santos Dumont. Até 25 de agosto todos os embarques terão o sistema implementado. Operação do sistema biométrico facial foi inaugurada nesta terça-feira (9) Reprodução/TV Globo A ponte aérea Rio-São Paulo será a primeira do mundo com embarque biométrico facial, segundo a Infraero. A operação foi lançada nesta terça-feira, com a presença do ministro da Infraestrutura, Marcelo Sampaio, no Aeroporto de Congonhas, na Zona Sul da capital paulista. Ao longo do mês de agosto, o sistema biométrico será instalado aos poucos. Ainda conforme a Infraero, ele ocorrerá de forma gradual e simultânea nos aeroportos paulista e fluminense. Até o dia 25 de agosto, o sistema deve ser completamente instalado. Os passageiros podem escolher se querem embarcar com a biometria ou da maneira convencional, apresentando os documentos e a passagem aérea. Viajantes de voos domésticos dos aeroportos de Congonhas, em São Paulo, e Santos Dumont, Rio de Janeiro, acompanharão ao longo de agosto a instalação, os testes e o início da operação do sistema biométrico para passageiros e tripulantes.
