Governo lança novo passaporte e entrega primeira remessa da nova carteira de identidade

Imagem da capa do novo passaporte Reprodução O governo federal lançou nesta segunda-feira (27) um novo modelo de passaporte e entregou a primeira remessa do novo modelo da nova Carteira de Identidade Nacional (CIN). O presidente Jair Bolsonaro participou do lançamento do novo passaporte no Palácio do Planalto e realizou a entrega das primeiras novas carteiras de identidade. Segundo a Secretaria-Geral da Presidência, o novo passaporte tem tecnologia antifraude, é “temático e homenageia todas as regiões do Brasil por meio de ícones representativos dos biomas e da cultura de cada local”. Páginas internas do novo passaporte Reprodução O ministro da Justiça e Segurança Pública, Anderson Torres, disse que a nova versão do passaporte entrará em vigor ainda neste ano. “Será o primeiro passaporte temático do Brasil. Em suas 32 páginas vai retratar os biomas e as características culturais do país”, afirmou. Segundo ele, os procedimentos para emissão serão os mesmos. O custo será cerca de US$ 52, afirmou Torres. A nova carteira de identidade foi lançada pelo governo em fevereiro e vai substituir as carteiras de Registro Geral (RG). Com o novo documento, o número do Cadastro de Pessoas Físicas (CPF) vai servir como identificação única dos cidadãos. A nova carteira identidade começou a valer em 1º de março deste ano, mas os institutos de identificação em todo o país têm prazo de um ano para implementar a mudança. Um dos objetivos da nova carteira é unificar a identificação dos brasileiros e evitar fraudes. Atualmente, um mesmo cidadão pode ter até 27 números de RG, um em cada estado e no Distrito Federal. Nova identidade A troca para o novo documento será gradativa, e a emissão continuará gratuita na primeira via. O RG atual continua válido por até dez anos para quem tem até 60 anos. Para quem tem mais de 60, o prazo é indeterminado. “A nova identidade vem com um QR Code que pode ser lido de forma rápida por qualquer cidadão, facilitando a identificação e a autenticidade do documento”, disse a Secretaria-Geral. A validade será de cinco anos para crianças com até 11 anos de idade; dez anos para pessoas com idade de 12 anos completos a 59 anos; e indeterminada para pessoas com idade a partir de 60 anos. Assim que receber o documento em mãos, o cidadão poderá ter acesso ao o modelo virtual da carteira pelo aplicativo gov.br.
