Airbnb proíbe festas em todos os imóveis alugados pela plataforma

A regra da empresa impede encontros que possam incomodar vizinhos. A decisão tinha sido tomada de forma temporária em 2020 por conta da pandemia de Covid-19 e, agora, se tornou permanente. “A proibição temporária se revelou eficaz, por isso incluímos oficialmente essa medida em nosso regulamento”, informou a empresa. Em 2019, o serviço começou a proibir festas organizadas por meio das redes sociais, além de eventos que pudessem incomodar vizinhos das residências alugadas. A restrição começou após um tiroteio ocorrido em uma festa de Halloween em Orinda, Califórnia, em que cinco pessoas morreram e várias ficaram feridas. Mais de 100 pessoas participavam da festa, que aconteceu em uma casa alugada na plataforma. A suspensão temporária de todas as festas foi apresentada como uma medida de prevenção sanitária. A empresa observou uma queda anual de 44% nas denúncias de festas realizadas em propriedades listadas na plataforma. “A suspensão foi bem recebida pela nossa comunidade”, afirmou.
