ATOM surpreende com resultado trimestral acima da expectativa

A ATOM S/A, que atua com educação e capacitação de traders, surpreendeu o mercado com seu resultado financeiro trimestral, acima da expectativa, segundo a empresa. No 3º trimestre desse ano, o crescimento de vendas foi de 575% em relação ano mesmo período do ano passado e de 13% em comparação ao 2º trimestre desse ano.

A receita bruta da área educacional chegou a R$ 24 milhões no acumulado de 2020 ante a R$ 6,2 milhões no acumulado de 2019, atingindo um crescimento de 287%.

A companhia, cujo código de negociação no Mercado da Bolsa é ATOM3, chegou ao 3º trimestre consecutivo de ganhos regulares na mesa de operações. Isso é fruto de melhor rentabilidade dos traders sênior que conseguem manter estabilidade nos resultados e a esforços da companhia em melhorar os controles e treinamentos internos.

O resultado foi de 0,3 milhões no 3º Trimestre de 2020, contra a uma perda de 0,1 milhões no 3º Trimestre de 2019. No acumulado do ano, a área apresenta 2,9 milhões contra prejuízo de 0,6 milhões no mesmo período ano passado.

E também no acumulado do ano, a receita bruta foi de R$ 24 milhões (resultado consolidado da controladora e todas as controladas) na área educacional e R$ 2,8 milhões de ganhos de capital na área de tesouraria.

Segundo a CEO da ATOM, Ana Carolina Paifer,”a soma de todas as receitas, nas áreas de tesouraria e educacional, foi de R$ 26,8 milhões neste ano de 2020. Lembrando que a receita da área de tesouraria é volátil, e pode inclusive apresentar resultados negativos.”

Com isso a companhia terminou o 9º mês de 2020 com caixa e equivalentes, ao valor de R$ 14,3 milhões, contra R$ 9,4 milhões um ano antes. Situação tranquila para financiar a expansão vislumbrada pela ATOM, e potenciais desafios frente a COVID-19.

Esse é o 42º mês da companhia gerando caixa.
