Golpe do falso leilão na internet faz mais de 15 mil vítimas em SP

Desde junho deste ano, o dfndr lab, laboratório especializado em segurança digital da PSafe, detectou mais de 52 mil acessos e compartilhamentos a 819 páginas falsas que se passam por sites de leilão para veículos.

O estado de São foi o mais afetado com 15.241 vítimas, segundo o monitoramento da empresa. No Rio de Janeiro foram 7.250 vítimas e Minas Gerais 4.357.

De acordo com o diretor do dfndr lab, Emilio Simoni, os sites falsos mostram anúncios de carros e motos seminovos, que supostamente estariam sendo leiloados com valores bem abaixo do mercado.

Os golpistas incluem informações detalhadas sobre os veículos do falso leilão, como ‘IPVA 2020 pago’ e até mesmo supostas certificações. Muitas das páginas utilizam nomes de instituições conhecidas, como o do Detran, para ganhar credibilidade e alcançar ainda mais vítimas.

Os fraudadores incentivam ainda a vítima a realizar um cadastro nas páginas falsas, enviando informações pessoais e dados bancários para garantir o suposto lance no leilão.

“Os criminosos pedem cópias de documentos das vítimas e as induzem a fazer o pagamento do lance o quanto antes. Acreditando que fizeram um bom negócio, as vítimas fazem o depósito na conta bancária do atacante e nunca recebem o veículo. Quanto tentam contestar o pagamento, são ignoradas”, explica Simoni.

Segundo a empresa, alguns cuidados podem ser tomados para se proteger contra o golpe. O primeiro deles é instalar um antivírus no celular – a ferramenta tem a função de alertar sobre links maliciosos (phishing) recebidos por meio do navegador em tempo real.

Em segundo lugar, deve-se evitar fazer o cadastro em sites de leilão sem antes pesquisar por reclamações e verificar se é um site oficial de leilão.

E, por fim, não se deve fornecer dados pessoais ou bancários em links ou aplicativos de procedência desconhecida.
