Promoção falsa do Dia dos Namorados faz 39 mil vítimas

Utilizando o nome da marca de cosméticos O Boticário e aproveitando a alta demanda de compras no dia dos namorados, cibercriminosos criaram mais um golpe via redes sociais com o intuito de roubar dados do consumidor.

O Dfndr lab, laboratório especializado em segurança digital da PSafe, detectou que o novo golpe, disseminado pelo Whatsapp, fez mais de 39 mil vítimas a longo dos últimos sete dias.

A promessa é que ao clicar no link, colocar os dados pessoais e compartilhar o link malicioso da promoção com cinco contatos do WhatsApp, o cliente receberia um perfume masculino ou feminino de brinde para dar de presente neste Dia dos Namorados.

“O criminoso tem acesso a dados pessoais que podem ser vendidos, ou até mesmo usados para assinar serviços pagos. Fora isso, caso a vítima dê permissão à falsa página para o recebimento de notificações. o cibercriminoso poderia enviar outras promoções falsas como essa diretamente a ela”, explica Emilio Simoni, diretor do dfndr lab sobre os riscos de cair no golpe.

O método é chamado de ‘Cadastre e ganhe’ é para gerar credibilidade e os criminosos conseguem até forjam comentários e reações de pessoas que teriam recebido o prêmio. 

“O cibercriminoso condiciona a vítima a pensar que ela precisa seguir todos os passos para supostamente receber o prêmio. Com isso, ele aproveita da boa fé da vítima para torná-la um vetor de disseminação do golpe”, explica Simoni. 

Procurada pelao R7 a empresa enviou o seguinte nota:
“O Boticário informa que a mensagem que está circulando em grupos de WhatsApp, com link para uma promoção de Dia dos Namorados e kit com duas fragrâncias, é falsa! Orientamos não acessar o conteúdo para que não danifique(m) seu(s) equipamento(s) eletrônico(s). Em caso de dúvidas, a empresa coloca à disposição todos seus canais de comunicação oficiais com o consumidor – site, redes sociais, telefone– para esclarecimentos sobre promoções válidas e informa que está tomando as providências cabíveis.”
